Our aim is to safeguard the security of all users, whilst providing a service which keeps all our members up to date with news & information about issues which are of interest and relevant to all members. How will your information be used?
The information you provide enables us to register you with this club and subsequent Governing Bodies like the Mid Sussex Football League, Sussex Sunday Football League, Sussex County FA & the FA Whole Game System.
This enables us to keep you up to date with match / tournament fixtures, meetings & events via email, Facebook ,Twitter, Instagram or the website and where the use of your information is necessary for us to carry out our duties as a club to you,
Data Security.
For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998/General Date Protection Regulation (GDPR) the information will be stored under strict safekeeping and confidentiality measures to protect it against misuse of any external data processing services we may have to use, but this must meet our security policies.
Your data will be held on secure servers operated by the Secretary of Willingdon AFC & the Secretary of Willingdon AFC Youth.
We will only allow Committee Members who need to process your date to have access and prevent all other members from seeing it.
What information we will use?
Willingdon AFC, will use the following information. Your Name, Address, contact phone numbers, Email address, Date of Birth, Gender, Emergency Contact as required to complete your registration to the club, whether you are a Committee Member, Player, Coach or Manager.
We may also ask for relevant health information, which is classed as special category personal data for the purposes of your health, wellbeing, welfare & Safeguarding. Where we hold this data it will be with the explicit consent of the participant or, if applicable, the participants Parents or Guardians.
Where we need to collect this personal data to fulfill Club responsibilities and you do not provide that date, we may not be able to honour or administer your registration or Membership to the Club.
The Period for which we will keep your information.
We will keep your information for as long as it is necessary for us to fulfil the purpose we describe in the policy.
We will delete your information if you leave the club and you confirm this option by email or letter to either Club Secretary.
Sharing Information.
In line with our responsibilities as a Club, we will have to notify opposing clubs, referees and possibly Linesman with data about the club but this will be strictly only about the up & coming fixture, kick off time and venue, and we take by receipt of this Privacy Notice that the above mentioned have no objections to this.
Your Rights regarding your Personal Data.
As a data subject you have the right at any time to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain kinds of processing of your personal data, including direct marketing; to the portability of your personal data & to complain to the UK’s Data Protection Supervisory Authority, the Information Commissioner’s office about the processing of your personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will inform you to any changes in how we handle your personal data.
